Hey all. How do you find out what is on tv? Any particular website for your local listings?
Just recently, I have been using tv.yahoo. I can enter in my location and get my local listings. It is great, but I'm now curious about other sites. Maybe some are easier than others.
With yahoo, I need to route my mouse over to read any description of the show.
Either way, I'm hooked! It's fun to actually have a better way to know what is on. No more straining to read the onscreen menu or asking someone to read it.

In the UK you can use the site www.tvhelp.org to find out which TV programmes have audio description.
You all probably know about that already but a friend just told me about it so I thought I'd share.
Thanks. The wireless tvguide site worked pretty well. I've also found zap2it; I like this one because the description of the show is right beside it. It doesn't have the dvs or cc though.
i like to use
www.tvguide.com/listings/
and also
www.titantv.com/
is pretty good to use too.
I don't watch very much TV. But when I do want to look at listings, I get them from NFB NewsLine.
Try locatetv.com. Just add your favorite shows and movies and it will tell what's on or where you can find it online or dvd.
NFB newsline is now available on the net. If you already are a subscribed member, you can access the same information online, including TV listings, as you do on the phone.
Hi there. Where is the online newsline tv listings? I signed up for the phone newsline, and tv listings are not available in my state.
The address is www.nfbnewslineonline.org. There will be a page where you have to log in, and you use the same 6-digit ID and 4-digit security code that you do for the phone. Then click on web news. However, if TV listings are not available in your state on the phone, they may not be available online either.
try www.mydigiguide.co.uk, in the UK. v good that. though you pay a small fee for it.
